A royal visit, 4 days, 9 events
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award brought us on as the official media team for Prince Edward’s visit. We travelled Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch with the team and shot 9 events back to back, with same-day turnaround. Some of the work was featured by the Royal Family on their official channels.

Questions we get a lot
Will you get in the way?
Nope. Most clients say they barely noticed us. We stay out of the speeches and the sightlines, and we don't need managing.
Who actually turns up?
Almost always us: Rohan, Lauren, or both of us on photo + video. For bigger events we sometimes bring in a photographer we trust, and we’ll always tell you who before the day.
Can you do posed and group shots too?
Absolutely. Candid is our default, but we'll happily round people up for team photos, sponsor shots or anything on your list.
What about dark venues or a media wall?
Dim bars, stage lighting and smoke machines are normal for us. If there's a media wall, add media wall lighting in the calculator and we'll light it properly.
When do we get everything?
Photos within 3 days, video within 7. Priority turnaround gets them to you quicker, same day if required. Ask and we’ll quote it.
What if something breaks on the day?
We bring backup cameras, lenses, batteries and cards to every shoot, so a dead battery or a dropped lens doesn’t become your problem.
How many revisions are included?
One round of revisions on every video edit.
Do prices include GST?
No, all prices exclude GST.
Do you work evenings and weekends?
Yes. Most events happen in the evening or on a weekend, and that’s normal for us.
Do you travel?
Yes, we travel NZ-wide and internationally. One project had us covering events in 3 cities over 4 days.
Can you make content before the event?
Yes. Teasers, speaker promos or product content made ahead of the day are quoted separately. Tell us what you have in mind.
Can you cover multi-day or multi-city events?
Yes. We covered 9 events over 4 days across Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch for a royal visit. Send us the schedule and we’ll quote it.
